Seeing:

My art teacher's house at a BBQ tonight. It was such a lovely space.

Smelling:

Baked beans simmering in the crockpot. droool...

Tasting:

Cherries! Again, I know. But this was off the cherry tree in the yard! I beat the birds to one!

Feeling:

Content and excited for a move this fall.

Hearing:

The kitty happily purring next to me. Love that sound!

I'm off this weekend to Goldfield a bit north of here in Nevada. It's a restored ghost town, sort of. For the last few years they have been having a Memorial Day Weekend Rendezvous of sorts. Mostly lots of BBQ. Can't wait to get shots of the lovely old west buildings for some art projects I'm planning this summer....

Hope you all have a safe and happy Memorial Day Weekend and take some time to think and reflect upon all those brave men and women who have given their lives to keep us safe..

Oh the cherry tree is delicious. Even the birds think so. I think we each got one cherry maybe two each and the mockingbirds have been flying off with the rest... LOL

Today, a completely random thought post. Including a completely random photo that has nothing to do with what I am saying. Zeitgeist and the month of December…

makes I am planning to blog through the month of December, you know one of those blog everyday kind of clubs.  I like the idea of them a lot – though I’m not promising anything spectacular, because I tend to get sidetracked a lot, but I am planning to blog at least a little. I wasn’t even going to bother attempting another one of these things – the dismal failures and the guilt, the added stress from the guilt, who needs it really!?! I suppose if I actually made it all the way through I’d feel pretty awesome but it’s all good. Actually, what most excited me about this blog all the month thing was the theme – Zeitgeist – isn’t that just one of the coolest words ever? It just sounds cool.  I am thinking of adopting it as my theme for 2011 – I’m not joking, I like it that much.
